EDIT: Super Sonic Racing (Sonic R) - MuseScore 4 Version
5Done in my usual simplified style for my traditional trio of alto sax, vibraphone, and piano, this is my take on theme song from one of my absolute favorite video games of all time, Sonic R, entitled "Super Sonic Racing." I loved racing games as a kid, and I loved Sonic the Hedgehog games; this was almost killing two birds with one stone, since it is a racing game that has Sonic and his friends, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, plus Dr. Eggman (still known as Dr. Robotnik back then). While each track's objective was still to win the race, the tracks also included other paths that could only be accessible by collecting enough rings, and there was also a Chaos Emerald (or two) in each track. If you collected those and won the race, you got to keep the Emerald(s), and eventually you'd unlock Super Sonic (plus several other robot characters such as Metal Sonic).
Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles competed on foot, whereas Eggman drove his Eggmobile, and Amy (for whatever reason) drove a car. Granted her car did allow her to float on water when necessary, but I never played the game as Amy (unless I was doing a time trial).
NOTES: There were a few typos that needed fixed; I did so here and used MuseScore 4 to do so.
