Hey everyone, Eezore here, and in this video I try to explain how Relics work, the point of the mercenaries, and what to do in mid to end game. Or more importantly, which heroes to focus on.

Mercenaries: These guys will go out on "quests" for you to bring back gold, rubies, hero souls, skill activations, or more mercenaries. These guys take a set amount of time to complete things, and have a chance to die when doing the quest. With the exception of recruitment, never seen them die there. It can take 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes, and up to 2, 4, 8, 24, or 48 hours to complete. The rewards get better the longer the time on the quests, but do watch out! Longer times doesn't mean better rewards. All quests have a % to be complete, like 43% chance to find a ruby, or a guaranteed relic, with 15% chance for a second. The hero souls however go with a % based on your current Quick Ascension rate. Just pay attention to the details, because sometimes longer is better, or shorter is better.

Relics: These are random equipment that give 1 to 4 perks to certain ancients. They basically add levels to ancients, even if you don't have them, and can help flesh out your build. These things are 100% random though, so I wouldn't recommend trying to grind out the "perfect" ones. Just take the best of what you can get. The biggest ones to watch for are: Primal Chance %, Primal Soul%, treasure chest%, and either idle ancients for your build, or active ones. You want as many hero souls as often as possible, so really watch for that Primal %

Mid to end game: This will start to happen after your second transcendence. Make sure you follow the same rules, having at least 50 rubies for a quick ascend, and really focus in on your Ancient Soul usage. Once you start getting guilds again PUT THEM ALL INTO MASKED SAMURAI. Once you start getting to zone 1200ish, you can start pulling them to Atlas. THey will stay on Atlus until the end of the game. The very last hero is the best DPS, so once you get him put all guilds on him. That will not happen until MUCH later.

Watch your hero souls, as you want to really keep a good supply of them to increase your damage as a whole. FIND SOLOMON BY YOUR THIRD ASCENSION! He is WAY to good for the soul increase to get any later, and trying to find him early could be a waste. Set up your build, then look for him.
