It hasn't actually been that long since we got one of the most powerful IDs in the game and it feels like the new Yi Sang is trending towards that level of power. It's a little strange because PM said that the enemies need to be as strong as they are in order to balance how much power we have as the player... But then they give us something arguably more powerful? It's a weird design philosophy but I'm not one to complain about getting powerful equipment. A little disappointed that Ishmael got the short end of the stick on this one though.
