One minor detail I recently noticed about Sonic Prime is Eggman's use of hostile architecture in New Yoke City. There are countless anti-homeless benches scattered throughout the city to restrict denizens from loitering. While it's not surprising that Eggman would hate the poor and homeless... The fact that the animators included this subtle detail shows their dedication to world building. It's a minor feature that shows how autocratic the Chaos Council truly is.
