EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) released a new buyers guide every year. The first one that I bought was 1997. I was foaming at the mouth with thoughts of owning a Nintendo 64 and Mario. Unfortunately the price of the system was astronomical and right through the roof. It was a lot more affordable to buy magazines where I could look at pictures of these games lol.
