As you continue the Kyrian storyline and defeat Lysonia, a fragment of her remains, a piece of the Hologram which according to the Kyrian would allow us to look into her memories and know more about the Forsworn rebellion.

All of this is because there exists a ‘database’ in Bastion called the ‘Mnemonic Locus’ where ALL aspirants and ascended alike store their memories for further review, growing, learning, understanding, which is the main plot of the Shadowlands as the Forsworn were very uncomfortable about letting go of their Ego selves’ even though their memories wouldn’t be deleted but stored.

The Lore here offers a more in-depth look into the theme of Ego dissolution which is very common in ancient philosophies and modern accounts on the Afterlife along with modern theories of ‘ethereal databases’ and the holographic nature of the universe.
