Einhander (1998) Playthrough (PSX/PS1)
0From the creators of Final Fantasy VII and Eirgheiz, comes a shoot 'em up inspired by The Fifth Element, Blade Runner and Thunder Force. Combine the three of them and you get this game with a German word for this game's title, Einhander, originally released on November 20th, 1998, the same day as The Rugrats Movie playing in theaters. Now, who would've thought SquareSoft of all game studios would actually make a Shoot 'em up? I sure didn't.
Anyways, you pick up various weapons to take down your enemies and also use them for strategic purposes as well, you know, during the boss battles. This game as decent graphics (3D polygonal graphics instead of using, you know, traditional sprites) and controls just like you'd expect. Also, this game can be tough at times. Take advantage of your extra weapons during the bosses. And it's kinda trial and error as well. It's actually pretty good. I had a bit of fun playing this game. If you like shoot 'em ups, then this is the game for you.
