You start the game as an adventurer named CJ.
You meet a trader (Hogan) who is being targeted by some bandits. This leads to a quick combat tutorial.
Once you enter the city you learn more about the world and what to expect. The major (Isha) gives you the choice to spend 100,000 baqua or complete a stamp book to get your explorer's license.
In order to get stamps, you must help the townsfolk. This is where your quests will come from.
Your first quest is a simple one to retrieve a cat (yum-yum) for a little girl (Priya).
After you retrieve the cat, Priya tells you her dad (Ganesh) needs help. Priya's dad's quest has you go deeper into the forest to gather wood.
When you complete the second quest you are given a house to use as your base.
Then this unlocks the third quest to help Shiva (Priya's grandpa). He wants to restore the old clock tower. After some convincing he has you go even deeper into the Great Forest to retrieve the wood from the Great Tree.
But he forgets to mention to you that the tree is a huge demon.
