If you've met Boc and helped him get back his sewing supplies (Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eh0i6RXlNlA), after beating Godrick he will show up at the Lake Facing Cliffs Grace and will offer to be your personal Seamster. He can modify your armor pieces (when applicable) for free, removing a piece of it, usually things like capes and other exterior bits, to reduce the armor's weight and changing how it looks. This will reduce it's damage negotiation as well, but can allow you to wear some heavier pieces without encumbrance, while keeping most of the defense. Very useful for keeping medium and even light rolls, and useful for having a greater variance in aesthetic.
