Malenia was born as a twin to Miquella, the most powerful of the Empyreans. She is renowned for her legendary battle against Starscourge Radahn during the Shattering, during which she unleashed the power of the Scarlet Rot, reducing Caelid to ruins. Wielding a prosthetic arm and leg, Malenia is located in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree.

This boss is optional, as players do not need to defeat it in order to advance in Elden Ring. Malenia is a difficult end-game boss and players may have difficulty avoiding damage from her Waterfowl Dance move in particular. Her poise is low, however, which players should make use of to interrupt some of her attacks. She drops the Remembrance of the Rot Goddess and Malenia's Great Rune when defeated.

Malenia heals up to 80% of her health at the beginning of phase 2
Defenses do not change between phases - she is more aggresive in 2nd phase.
During recovery from Scarlet Aeonia, there is a damage reduction.

Мета
Предположительно метовый уровень для PVP находится в пределах 125-150 уровней. На данный момент, самые популярные арены для дуэлей это благодати Первый шаг или Главные ворота академии.

Баланс и гиперброня
В отличие от Dark Souls 3, в Elden ring имеется пассивный пойз – сопротивление стану от получаемых атак. Пойз зависит от брони и может быть увеличен талисманами, расходниками и заклинаниями.

Таблица пойза
При танке атаки, условная полоска «здоровья» пойза уменьшается, ее длина увеличивается с увеличением баланса, когда полоска «заканчивается» то она автоматически обновляется и персонажа вводит в стан. Если полоска уменьшилась, а игрок больше не получал атаки, то через 5 секунд пойз начнет восстанавливаться к исходному значению.
Гиперброня – показатель, который активируется во время атаки оружием и зависит от баланса и класса используемого оружия. Как правило, чем тяжелее оружие – тем сложнее прервать его атаку, и тем легче им перебивать чужие атаки, или же трейдиться.

Броня
Самой эффективной являются тяжелые и сверхтяжелые сэты брони, например: сэт ветерана, броня Овцебыка, сэт Лионеля. Самым эффективным сэтом брони по показателю резисты/вес является шлем ветерана, доспех ветерана, наручи овцебыка, поножи овцебыка. Наличие плаща на туловище также влияет на баланс и резисты брони, плащ увеличивает эти показатели. Броня подбирается оптимальной под билд и характеристики персонажа так, чтобы общая нагрзука не превышала 70%.

Оружие
Метовым оружием в Elden ring являются длинные колющие оружия: Колющие мечи, Тяжёлые колющие мечи, копья. Особенно выделяются Меч чистой гнили, Сшиватель божественной кожи, Каменный меч короля драконов – для билда с упором в ловкость. Пика – для билда в силу.

Пепел Войны
Полезные в ПвП пеплы войны – Пламенный удар, Решимость рыцаря.
Ситуативные или зависящие от билда – Темные волны, Сэппуку, Льдистый туман, Поступь ищейки.

SPECIAL PVP SCALING
As of Patch 1.07, some Weapons, Skills and Magic Spells have unique scaling that only applies when playing vs another player. This scaling does not affect cooperative multiplayer or solo play, and is used to balance PvP independently from PvE.
PvP Exclusive Balance Adjustments
Increased stamina attack power in PvP for all attacks against guarded foes, except for long-ranged weapons.
Improved poise damage in PvP for every weapon’s normal attack, except for Skills and long-ranged weapons.
With a few exceptions, the power of Ashes of War in PvP has been lowered across the board.
The power of the following incantations in PvP has been decreased: Dragonfire / Agheel's Flame / Glintstone Breath / Smarag's Glintstone Breath / Rotten Breath / Ekzykes's Decay / Dragonice / Borealis's Mist / Unendurable Frenzy
