Elden Ring - RTX 2060 / Ryzen 2600 - 4K Max Settings
2Elden Ring gameplay benchmark running on an RTX 2060 and a Ryzen 2600, using RivaTuner Statistics Server to display info on the top of the screen.
Resolution is set to 3840x2160. Graphical settings have been set to the Maximum preset. The game runs exclusively on DirectX 12.
Given the questionable performance at 1080p, I wasn't expecting much at 4K, and sure enough, you're not going to get a very good experience at 4K with this setup. Intermediate areas will hover around 30, but the most demanding areas like the Forest will leave it below 30 FPS, and that's a no-no. At lower settings, aiming for a 30 FPS lock might be possible though.
The real kicker is that the framerate is all over the place, which you're probably already aware of if you've paid any attention to reports of the game's PC version. Sometimes it will have nice smooth 60 FPS for a few moments, but sometimes it will jump between the 20s and the 50s, and sometimes it will start jerking out. I've even seen videos of the game just flatout stopping for a few seconds.
This doesn't seem to be a problem with the hardware being used, and people with extremely high end PCs are also reporting problems like this. Can't say I'm surprised, given that From Software has always been terrible when it comes to the technical side of game development, but the game is in serious need of some patches, both on PC and on consoles.
