Check out part 7 of my Xclusive Let's Play series featuring the game Elder Scrolls Online! This game released on the Xbox One and Xbox Series family of consoles on June 6th, 2017 (and recently had its Series S/X update). It was developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.

In this video, I save all of the citizens of Bleakrock & help them escape to the marshlands known as Bal Foyen.

Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that allows the player to create their very own character and take part in a massive world filled with a ton of players and an almost-endless amount of quests. The game is set in the world of Tamriel and features its very own storyline within the Elder Scrolls Universe (which is indirectly connected to the other games in the franchise). It takes place during the Second Era (which is a millennium before the events in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim) and around 800 years before Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion) and initially revolves around the Daedric Prince Molag Bal, who is attempted to meld the plane of Mundus (the real world) with his realm of Coldharbour. Furthermore, the currently vacant Imperial Throne is contested by three alliances of the mortal races: Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant and the Ebonheart Pact. The game allows the player to pick one of the three alliances (which is normally tied to the race that you're able to choose) and follow their specific storyline. Since its release, there have been several DLCs and expansions added which has increased the content within the game significantly and added to the ever-evolving storyline.

The gameplay is actually very similar to Skyrim, however, with some of the added features that you would expect from an MMO. The player gets to create their character's race, class and physical features from the very beginning then throws them into a (recently updated) tutorial that introduces the newest expansion's storyline and walks the player on how to play the game. Once the player finishes the tutorial and is dropped into the main game they are essentially free to do whatever their heart desires: take on all kinds of different quests (zone quests, side quests and main story quests), random events that pop up across each of the different areas, various activities (such as fishing, crafting, cooking, etc.) and just being able to explore the world at their leisure.

The game has actually changed massively since its inception: it has gone free-to-play (as it was primarily subscription based before whereas now the subscription is optional - which gives the player some added benefits), many of the servers have been connected to make the world feel more full/alive and the overall design of the quests/activities has improved significantly.

Since this is an MMO (and there's A LOT of content here), this is going to a huge undertaking (which means that I may not post a new video on a daily basis, however, I will try to upload more videos as often as I can).

As for the achievements in this game: the game currently has over 100 achievements given how many different DLCs, updates and expansions this game has received. I would say that most of the them are tied to exploring the world and the many different activities/quests within each of the game's many areas, however, there are a few random ones (such as fleeing from a guard after they try to arrest you). I will be searching every nook & cranny of each area that I explore to get as many of these as possible (as I do with most of the games that I play).
