ELECTROCUTING STALKERS | The Last Of Us: Left Behind (DLC) Playthrough - Part 2
4Hey everybody! Welcome back to my The Last Of Us: Left Behind (DLC) playthrough, we are still running around with Riley waiting to figure out what she wants to show us. We get more great moments that show the kind of friends they were and still are and I love it. We turn on the power for the mall and then finally get to what she wants to show us but of course right when we open the door it cuts back to the winter. Ellie sees the helicopter that might have a med kit in it but getting there isn't that easy. There is a locked gate that appears to be the only way up and of course the generator that powers the gate is off. I follow the wires into some tunnels and eventually find the generator but it is out of gas. With a gas can and tube in hand I go to try to siphon some gas from the trucks here but of course several stalkers pour into the area. It does not go well for me the first time but I am ready the second and take them all out. I get the gas and get the generator running but a bunch of infected come running. Luckily for me a wire falls and I end up electrocuting stalkers which is great. I can't go out the way I came with the water electrified so I have to climb up onto the vents and work my way out. At the other end another handful of clickers are hanging around but a quick molotov takes care of that. I am back out where I started and of course two more clickers show up but again a molotov takes care of them quickly. I get the door open and Ellie jumps across to the helicopter and luckily the stuff we needed is in there. We cut back to the past and finally see what Riley wanted to show Ellie. It is a merry go round and they have a little fun riding it before having to move on. Right before they get off though Riley pulls out a book that turns out to be Ellie's pun book from later in the game! It just makes me so sad to see this happening and knowing how it ends.
New light is shed on Ellie’s relationship with Riley, her best friend and sometime-mentor from a military boarding school they grew up in together. After disappearing for weeks, Riley returns with a surprising revelation on her whereabouts. Ellie and Riley sneak out of school for the last time, leading to a series of events that will forever change both of their lives.
