HEART OF THE MOUNTAIN | God Of War Playthrough - Part 11
Hey everybody! Welcome back to my God Of War playthrough, the black breath is cleared and it is time to head into the mountain. Inside we find a giant golden deer statue and when I pull a lever nearby it creates ruins on the ground that Atreus drawn in the sand causing the statue to shoot a beam at a wall opening up a passageway. There is a lot of places to explore and loot here and I am loving trying to find it all! After I find what I can I get back on the main path that is filled with dragr and eventually leads to the heart of the mountain. There is a giant crane in the middle of the room that we might use to get to the top but when I got to control it Atreus butts in and tries to do it himself causing the thing to come crashing down and getting trapped under some rocks. We need to free the crane before we can use it and luckily the crane falling opened a new path. After some fighting I explore the room before moving on. In the next area we find Brok and Kratos is not happy he had a way through the black breath the whole time. With that conversation done I take advantage of him being here and start upgrading some equipment. We keep following the path until we are on the other side of a big door and we are able to move a cart and open the door to allow us to get up and hopefully move the rocks that are holding down the crane. Just gotta make sure Atreus doesn't touch anything else!
His vengeance against the gods of Olympus far behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the lands of Norse Gods and monsters. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive… and teach his son to do the same. As mentor and protector to a son determined to earn his respect, Kratos is faced with an unexpected opportunity to master the rage that has long defined him. Questioning the dark lineage he’s passed on to his son, he hopes to make amends for the shortcomings of his past. Set within the untamed forests, mountains, and realms of Norse lore, God of War features a distinctly new setting with its own pantheon of creatures, monsters, and gods.
