Hey, it's new fangame time!



The basic mechanics of this game are kinda similar to Imperishable Night, though actually quite a bit different. Generally, there are 2 kinds of enemies - small enemies and big enemies. Small enemies can only be hit when you're focused, and doing so often results in them vomiting a whole bunch of revenge bullets at you, so generally in some situations it's better to not shoot them. Big enemies, which can only be shoot when you focus, have a radius around them, which they "dye" when they are killed. Small enemies that are white get colored to the color of the big enemy if they are in the dye radius when the big enemy dies, and enemies that already have a color get killed (without shooting revenge bullets!). The color of the enemy depends on what they drop when they die - red enemies drop life items, green drop bomb items, and blue drop point items. In general, it makes stages much more interesting than just dodging, since you have to think whether you want to shoot focused/unfocused/at all, how to time cancels (BIG JUICY CANCELS), etc... Though this run is not a great example of that, as I didn't really know what I was doing LOL



There are also last spells, which are unlocked if you fill the gauge. Fortunately, unlike SSS last spells, you can't actually lose resources on them (thank god).The midboss on the extra stage is... quite interesting. All of her spells can't make you lose any resources (they're treated as last spells), HOWEVER you sure get a lot of stuff when you cap them. I think capping them vs not capping them is a difference of 2 extends and a bomb. So... you probably want to cap them. Though they sure are the kind of thing you won't cap blind, because you have to know that shooting on them is a REALLY bad idea as the small enemies flood the screen with revenge bullets if you do.


The boss is generally not bad, but it was my 2nd time fighting her (and honestly I'm a bit tired today) so I had some silly deaths. The first attempt got demolished by the 2nd timeout spell, but fortunately this game has spell practice (actually even nonspell practice!) so I was able to figure out that it's secretly easy (I guess that's what you'd expect from an extra boss, huh?). Some spells also feature a slowdown gimmick, however it seems like it's implemented in a really sketchy way and just drops FPS to 30. It's not really noticable in the video as the entirety of it is in 30FPS, but the sudden drop from 60 to 30 feels REALLY weird.


Also, deathbomb window is so big that it should be illegal. It feels like IN border team deathbomb window. I'll try to do lunatic 1cc next, I did normal and hard first try so it can't be *that* hard, right?
(spoiler: I'll probably trainwreck really badly on the first try)
