The most notable timesaves of this run are using a scorefile with no extra unlocked and getting the crash almost instantly after entering the achievement menu. These two things combined are what allowed sub-8 to finally happen.

Unfortunately, this run has already been beaten by Plus with a very, very nice time of 6.9, since his game opens faster than mine. I can't compete with that, so I think I'm going to retire from running this category.
