Back in 2012, I released my first album (by which I mean, I uploaded all the songs onto SoundCloud, ha ha): The Elemental Suite. It was sort of a love letter to dungeon music in The Legend of Zelda series, inspired by the Majora's Mask dungeon theme covers I made the year before. Each song in the suite revolves around a different theme, those being the themes used for the temples in Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker. You can think of the songs as the background music for a hypothetical dungeon of that theme, although they aren't entirely written like video game music.
The first song is FOREST. It was the second song I wrote out of the whole album, but later that year I went back and revised it into the version you hear now for an RPG I ultimately scrapped. In the RPG, it was used for a dungeon I called the "Arboreal Abyss."
