Back in 2012, I released my first album (by which I mean, I uploaded all the songs onto SoundCloud, ha ha): The Elemental Suite. It was sort of a love letter to dungeon music in The Legend of Zelda series, inspired by the Majora's Mask dungeon theme covers I made the year before. Each song in the suite revolves around a different theme, those being the themes used for the temples in Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker. You can think of the songs as the background music for a hypothetical dungeon of that theme, although they aren't entirely written like video game music.

The third song is SHADOW, themed obviously on shadow-themed dungeons such as Ocarina of Time's Shadow Temple or Wind Waker's Earth Temple. I wanted my shadow-themed song to emphasize darkness rather than the undead--for example, the feeling of longing for a lost loved one, or a looming sense of dread as the sun sets. This song is slightly modified from its original form for use in an RPG I was making at the time. The original was a touch shorter and more repetetive.
