Elemental | Wade Animation Test | Animation Breakdowns | 3D Animation Internships
Here’s an early Wade head turn animation test I did; It was a test of efficiency to see how we could do the watery overlap feel on Wade’s face and hair with the least amount of controls used. In the end we really limited the hair animation so that Simulation department could help and save time for the animators.
Here’s a production shot broken into 2 steps. The animation on the left is the final approved animation done by beautifully Evan Bonifacio, on the right you can see all the additional jiggle added by sim/fx department to really sell the watery feel on his whole body. There were a lot of close collaborations between these departments to create the final movement on all the characters. Cheers for teamwork!
