In this video we'll show you which talent is the best for Karina.
We are looking for the talent that can help improve her burst damage.
In this experiment, Karina will be equipped with Calamity Reaper.
We will only collect the damage from her skills, talents and item.
Any red damage will not be included.
First on our test is Magic Power Surge from the common magic emblem.
It adds magic attack by 11 to 25 after the first skill does damage.
Ultimate: 574

Next is High and Dry from the custom asssasin emblem.
It adds an extra 6% damage if there is only one enemy near.
Ultimate: 554

Third talent is Magic Worship from custom mage emblem.
This talent requires you to deal three damage that is more than 10% of the target's HP.
Once that condition is met, the enemy will be inflicted with magic damage three times.

Our last talent is Impure Rage from from custom mage emblem.
Skills will get an extra 4% damage that is based on the enemy's current HP.
It will also restore 3% of your mana.

From the test we can say that Magic Worship had the highest damage.
Second is Impure Rage while Magic Power Surge is just third even though this emblem is already at level 60.
High and Dry is the last despite the 6% extra damage.
Is Magic Worship the best talent for Karina?
The answer is no.
As much we love to see the enemy burn with this talent, there are cons when using it.
First is the long cooldown.
It only activates after 20 seconds which is not suited for Karina's gameplay.
Second is that basic attacks can trigger this effect.
This means minions can be inflicted with the burn effect.
If a clash suddenly comes up after you inflict the burn effect on a minion, you can't inflict the extra damage on enemy heroes.
Last one, is that its damage inflicted is after you have used your skills.
What we want is to increase the initial damage.
Higher initial damage means higher true damage from her passive.
The best talent for Karina is Impure Rage.
The talent's damage is percentage which is good.
The cooldown is short and the extra damage is at the start of her skill combination.
Impure Rage works well with Karina's passive.
On a full HP enemy, Impure Rage can deal more damage.
On a low HP enemy, her passive damage increases.
The extra 3% mana restored every time this talent is used can be helpful too.
