ELGIN EXPERIMENTS #8 - BEST TALENT GUSION - WHAT TALENT SHOULD GUSION/GOSSEN USE?

In this video we will show you the best talent for Gusion/Gossen.
The talent we are looking for should increase the overall damage of Gusion/Gossen's combo.
First talent is Magic Worship from the custom mage emblem.
It requires your skill to deal at least 10% of the enemy's max HP three times.
Gusion/Gossen can't activate this talent because of the way his skills are made.
Second talent is Impure Rage from the custom mage emblem.
It deals an extra 4% of the current HP of the target.
After dealing the extra damage, you will have to wait for 5 seconds before you can use it again.
Third talent is Magic Power Surge from the common magic emblem.
Once a skill deals damage, Gusion/Gossen gets an extra magic attack for 3 seconds.
This icon appears when it is active.
Magic Power Surge has a 6 second cooldown.
So which is the best talent?
The best talent is Magic Power Surge from the common magic emblem.
Gusion/Gossen requires a multiple skills when attacking.
By increasing your magic attack you increase the next skill damage.
Any skills casted within the 3 second period gets extra magic attack.
Also, when you use his 2nd skill as the first attack, one blade gets the normal damage.
The rest of the daggers immediately gets the bonus magic attack.
What about its 6 second cooldown?
If you take a closer look it is not actually 6 seconds.
Let's see how long before the talent becomes active again.
The talent is finish, timer starts.
After just 3 seconds it is active again.
Any skill you use again within the next 3 seconds will gain extra magic damage.
Compared to Impure Rage, the extra damage you will get from Magic Power Surge is better.
Why not use Golden Touch instead?
Let's do the math.
Talent is limited to 10 minutes.
10 minutes means 20 minion waves.
Let's assume you miss 1/4 of the wave. (ganking, death, regen, clash)
If you can last hit 2 minions every wave that would give you:
(15 waves x 2 minions) x 16 gold = 480 gold
What can you buy with 480 gold that should give you more than 25 magic power?
If you have amazing last hitting skills and could double that gold output then Golden Touch talent is better for you.
But if you can't do that, then you are better off with Magic Power Surge talent.
What about emblem stats?
In terms of damage the custom mage emblem is better.
But since Gusion/Gossen will need to be close to the enemy he will need some HP.
Common magic emblem can give 267 HP plus the tier 1 talent 200 HP for a total of 467 HP.
How about assasin and jungle talents?
The stats from their emblem gives physical attacks, critical and attack speed which Gusion/Gossen doesn't need.
Gusion/Gossen is already a good jungler without the Jungle talent and emblems.
He can solo the turtle at level 4 and can clear jungle monsters very fast.
So that's all there is.
The best talent for Gusion/Gossen is Magic Power Surge from the common magic emblem.
