Hey guys! What's up?
In this video we'll show you how to abuse different items using Zilong's passive.
Let's first understand Zilong's passive.
Zilong's passive activates every 6 seconds.
Zilong hits the enemy rapidly 4 times every 6 seconds.
First item is Windtalker.
Windtalker's unique passive generates a magic attack every 5th basic attack to 3 enemies.
The rule is a hero has to make 5 basic attacks to release the magic damage from Windtalker.
Let's try it on Zilong.
When Zilong uses Windtalker, each hit of his passive is considered a basic attack.
Zilong only needs his passive and 1 basic attack for Windtalker's passive to trigger.
Windtalker's passive will occur more when equipped by Zilong.
Also, the 6 seconds cooldown from his passive gets reduce by 0.5 second when doing a basic attack.
This means Windtalker's attack speed will further improve the rate of Windtalker's passive occuring.
What about the other items that are triggered by basic attacks?
Brute Force Breastplate gets an increase physical attack and movement speed each time you attack.
The maximum is 4 stacks.
Can it reach maximum stack with just one basic attack from Zilong's passive?
With one attack, movement speed is at 286 while physical attack is 191.
Let's do a continuous attack to see the stats of a full stack Brute Force Breastplate.
Same stats as before.
This means you get a full stack right away with Zilong's passive.
What about Hunter Strike?
Hunter Strike gives you extra movement speed after 5 basic attacks.
Let's test it.
This blue streaks of light shows that Hunter Strike passive is active.
With just 2 attacks, Zilong already got a movement speed.
What about Corrosion Scythe?
Each attack from Corrosion Scythe increases your physical attack by 2%.
It can reach up to 6%, which means 3 stack.
With two attacks, physical attack is at 245.
Let's do a continuous attack to see the stats of a full stack Corrosion Scythe.
Physical attack is still 245 which means it is at max stack when using Zilong's passive.
What about Demon Hunter Sword?
Demon Hunter Sword gives extra damage to basic attacks based on the enemy's current HP.
Nope, only one extra damage was dealt when using Zilong's passive.
Let's recap.
Zilong's 4 rapid attacks from his passive are considered 4 basic attacks.
The unique passive of Windtalker, Brute Force Breastplate and Hunter Strike are easily triggered with Zilong's passive.
Demon Hunter Sword only gives one extra damage on Zilong's passive.
From the items my favorite is Windtalker.
It can be a great way to clear waves of minions fast.
Plus, the magical damage from Windtalker is affected by critical rate.
The next is Corrosion Scyhte.
Don't be fooled by the +50 physical attack, once you start attacking that number goes up.
Next is Brute Force Breastplate.
Zilong will need the extra armor and HP because of his gameplay.
I won't recommend Hunter Strike because its unique passive has a 15 second cooldown.
Are you already using one of those item on Zilong?
Which item would you add on your current Zilong build?
