Not really related to iOS games, but I've talked about bug out bags on the TouchArcade podcast now and again so I'm just uploading this to our channel so I can link to it in the future! I'm big into general, *REASONABLE* preparedness, with "reasonable" being the key word here.

A lot of videos on YouTube of people putting kits together like this are by mall ninjas just looking for an excuse to buy more MOLLE stuff to hang off the back of their tactical backpack. My goal here is a backpack with everything I'd realistically need for three days and to deal with any potential emergencies until I can either get to help or help arrives.

Most of this stuff you likely have already laying around your house, and if not, none of it is very pricey. The most expensive thing in my bag is my first aid kit, and that's really just because I wanted a trauma kit to deal with potential gunshot wounds since I participate in long-range rifle events.

Even a change of clothes and some water thrown in a pillow case is a great place to start, though! I've been refining this bag for quite a while and was finally happy enough with it to put together this video. Even though it's more than a little off topic, I hope you guys enjoy it.
