Elite: Dangerous is a $29.99 space simulation game that support VR for the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive. It also supports gameplay on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Elite: Dangerous contains a simulation of the milky way galaxy with over 400 billion star systems. You play a pilot and have to work your way up from the bottom through trading, combat, and exploration.
Elite: Dangerous update 2.4 The Return introduces an alien race called the Thargoids. Thargoids are non-humanoid aliens that we are unable to communicate with in a traditional manner. Thargoids can be interacted with peacefully, or attacked and killed, but they are very powerful and require special anti-Thargoid technology to take down. Patch 2.4 is being rolled out over time, so additional content will be added as the Thargoid storyline unravels.
