Elite: Dangerous has just released Beta 3, another step on the route to the finished title (expected before the end of the year). We get new Ships in the form of the Federal Dropship and the Imperial Clipper, another 2000 star systems to explore, player induced interdiction, fuel scoops and asteroid mining.
