Elite Dangerous - Cool MEDIA PLAYER Idea (Devs plz add into game)
13Cool idea that devs should add into the game. Having 400 hours on Elite Dangerous, it can get really boring when flying between systems and you have nothing else to do than wait. So I'd like to introduce to you, a MEDIA PLAYER IDEA! This feature should allow people to play their favorite music tracks and videos while exploring the depths of space.
NOTE - I forgot to demonstrate the music, it should have the sound graph thing, like on classic music players, such as winamp. Instead of video, it should have the sound wave things bouncing.
Media Player should have stand alone volume, transparency, playlist, playlist shuffle, repeat ..etc and it should read videos either locally from your PC, from youtube or from a shoutCAST URL, making it possible to listen to real radios or watch real TV while flying your favorite ship in the Milky Way galaxy.
MOST IMPORTANT feature the media player should have, is that when there are incoming alerts, such as "ship under attack", then media player should mute / turn volume down so that you can clearly hear the announcement (this should be in options, so you can choose if announcements mute the volume or just turn it down by %)
Another thing, is that media player should have 2 options (realistic audio / source audio). This means, that if it's set to Realistic, then it sounds like media player is playing through ship speakers, adding that cool effect that is being used in the comms (when using in-game comms). and if it's set to source, then it's exactly as the input, without any additional effects.
Some may say "bah vah buhh ohhh just use steam overlay or media player on background". Well I say "bah vuh vah lemon how about you stop playing games altogether and just imagine that you are playing"
