The Flack Launcher was designed specifically to defeat Thargon Swarms released by Thargoind interceptors, and is ineffective at any other task. Its high skill ceiling, low shot speed, and limited ammunition, make it a difficult weapon to master when fighting interceptors in open space. While it can be fun to use, ships that apply this weapon need to take time to consider how they will use it.
