I guess when they tell you to back off, they really mean it...
After watching a bunch of videos of interactions with the Thargoids in newly released 2.4, I thought I had their behavior down pat. Fly too close, they go red and angry. Back off, they turn green and resume scanning behavior. Repeat. I thought "too close" was in the neighborhood of 400-500 meters... and I thought once they stopped being all red, they'd give you a second warning if you got too close again... Turns out, nope, one warning is what I got, and once I showed any intent of moving closer again, I got what was coming to me...
