Last year (2023) Banana Phoenix and I set out from our home base of Mouchez Orbital in the Beta-2 Tucanae system on a long deep space voyage. Our path would take us from home across to Colonia, then looping Sagitarius A and then finally homeward bound.

A simple route you might thing, but not when I was stopping at every single system along the way to scan everything it might contain, from planets to biosigns. A journey that took me just over six months to complete and left me completely isolated from the rest of my community squadron-mates, with nothing more than HCS to keep me company.

At 0535 on New Year's Eve 2023 I finally made it home, originally hoping I would have been back in time for Christmas. Unfortunately a really serious case of Flu paid parcel to that so I had to settle with the last day of the year, and here we see it after close to 11 hours flying to make it back.
