ELLIE CAN SHOOT! | The Last Of Us Remastered Playthrough - Part 15
4Hey everybody! Welcome back to my The Last Of Us Remastered playthrough, Ellie just saved Joel's life but he couldn't swallow his pride and admit it and now she is acting distant. Continuing through the building we find a nice dining hall with some more supplier but no way up. We have a little talk but still she is unhappy with the way Joel is treating her. Ellie helps me push a piano over and we climb up and out. On the outside scaffolding we see another group of hunters and on the ledge a skeleton with a gun beside it. Joel decides it is too dangerous for her to come down with me but gives her the gun and trusts her to do some damage from up top. Before I jump down Joel turns to Ellie and sort of thanks her in his own was for saving him and I could tell how much that meant to her. I start things off with a Molotov but before I know it I get hit with one myself and learn that they are instant kill! I get right back in and start taking them out again. With Ellie on support fire we do alright and before I know it the area is cleared. Ellie joins me on the ground and after seeing that Ellie can shoot Joel finds something a little more her size and I am so happy to see the trust grow between them. I clear out all the buildings in the area and then we press on. It doesn't take long for us to find another group of hunters and this time there are several traps around too. Hopefully we can make it through this one too!
The Last of Us is a genre-defining experience blending survival and action elements to tell a character driven story about a population decimated by a modern plague. 20 years after a pandemic has radically changed known civilization, cities are abandoned and being reclaimed by nature, infected humans run wild and survivors are killing each other for food, weapons; whatever they can get their hands on. Joel, a violent survivor, is hired to smuggle a 14 year-old girl, Ellie, out of an oppressive military quarantine zone, but what starts as a small job soon transforms into a brutal journey across the U.S.
