HUNTING THE HUNTERS | The Last Of Us Remastered Playthrough - Part 16
4Hey everybody! Welcome back to my The Last Of Us Remastered playthrough, we are surrounded by hunters on all angles and I decide not to stealth it this time. With one quick headshot I have all the hunters in the area bearing down on us. I take out a few here and there and then sneak across the road to another building where I take out another. With the high ground I try to snipe some more but cannot get a good shot so I head back down. Once the last few are taken care of and I search the area we move on but there are more hunters near by. With the amount I have taken out I feel like I am hunting the hunters and it feels good, that is until they get the armed truck out on patrol. This thing is tearing into me anytime I come out into the open so I have to try to sneak across. Is works fine until a hunter spots me and makes me come out of cover to take care of them As I get off the street the truck keeps following me and almost corners me in an alley but thankfully there is an open door for me to get into. Once inside we start climbing up and across ledges to move from building to building and it gets even sketchier when the truck shows up and I have to hope they don't look up. Eventually a climb into a window where a cutscene plays and we are introduced to another child adult team and it seems like we are all going to work together!
The Last of Us is a genre-defining experience blending survival and action elements to tell a character driven story about a population decimated by a modern plague. 20 years after a pandemic has radically changed known civilization, cities are abandoned and being reclaimed by nature, infected humans run wild and survivors are killing each other for food, weapons; whatever they can get their hands on. Joel, a violent survivor, is hired to smuggle a 14 year-old girl, Ellie, out of an oppressive military quarantine zone, but what starts as a small job soon transforms into a brutal journey across the U.S.
