Elon Musk is actually stepping down as Twitter CEO! Musk announced in a tweet last night that he hired a new CEO who will be starting in about 6 weeks. And after some intense speculation online, Musk confirmed today that Linda Yaccarino from NBCUniversal will be taking over. Yaccarino was the ad chief with NBCUniversal until announcing her departure yesterday. But if she doesn’t work out, MrBeast has graciously offered his services for the position. Musk went on to say he looks forward to working with Linda to turn Twitter into his “X: The Everything App.” And we’ve already seen many people responding to the announcement with complaints against Yaccarino - saying she’s too woke and won’t maintain Musk’s free speech campaign. As for the chief twit himself, Musk says that he serves as an executive chair as well as the Chief Technology Officer of the company - overseeing product and software. But be sure to let me know what you think in the comments below and follow to stay in the loop.
