Please check out my new channel!    / elutranbugfables   Pivot Cancelling is a technique used by multiple characters to cancel the run animation and do a sliding tilt. This is done by turning around during the run animation and then performing a tilt in the forward direction. However, on Greninja, Pivot Cancelling is not as useful. This is because Greninja's tilts do not cancel his momentum. This means that Greninja slides the same distance, regardless of doing a pivot cancel vs a normal tilt out of run.

The biggest use of pivot cancelling with Greninja would be to gain slightly extra distance when doing a forward smash out of run. Otherwise, there is no difference between a pivot cancel and a skid cancel tilt on Greninja.
