Ember Knights | A Criminally Underrated Rogue-Lite in Development (PC) @ 2K 60 fps
0Ember Knights is an absolute Gem of a game in development. It balances the skill necessary to win, with the enemies' design, quantity and strength, absolutely perfectly. Whenever I win, it feels like I played well, and not just luck. Certainly, with any game that has RNG, you'll get better items than other runs, but even with bad luck this game feels beatable if you're good enough. The controls are smooth and responsive, and really sets a manageable high paced gameplay. Ember Knights looks great, the combat mechanics are very well done and the upgrades for each run feel satisfying. It's an incredible early access title but they're obviously still working to put out more content. Hope you enjoy my video.
