EmberGen is a real-time fluid simulation application for creating smoke, fluid and fire effects. It is available on Windows and has a fully functioning 14 day trial available. In this video we show how to create special effects using EmberGen, then how to use VDB in Blender and Flipbook animations in the Godot Game Engine. Speaking of VDBs, JangaFX also make a number of VDB volume files available for free download on their website.
