SCP-610, The Flesh That Hates
Object Class; Keter
SCP-610 is a highly infectious disease that over the course of a few hours, turns ANY living thing, human or not human into a GROSSLY physically mutated creature. Symptoms include a rash, increased skin sensitivity, and heightened aggression. Within three hours of infection, the victim will have blemishes that resemble heavy scar tissue on the chest and arms area, expanding to the legs area in the additional hour. The victim will be completely consumed five hours after infection, however their organs will restart but at a heightened rate than normal.
Plot; SCP-610 somehow manages to breach containment and the containment attempt fails for the SCP Foundation, Global Occult Coalition, and the Horizon Initiative. SCP-610 breached containment in the areas around Lake Baikal in the Russian Far East, and has managed to spread rapidly across Russia, causing a refugee crisis and another Russian Civil War simultaneously. Meanwhile in the United States and Canada, the Russian refugees who were lucky enough to escape found refuge in both countries. But then, six weeks after the infection in Russia started, SCP-610 begins to kill off the population, turning them into grossly physically mutants. SCP-610 manages to spread across the world too, as well. And another week passes by, the EAS is broadcasted to warn about the disease, with the message being broadcasted in both English and Russian for Russian refugees in the United States.
