Empowering a Connected Intelligent World With OpenHarmony and Oniro - OCX 2024
The convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) (collectively called AIoT) is rapidly transforming our world, with billions of devices connecting to collect, share, and analyze data. This interconnected ecosystem demands open, intelligent, and secure operating systems that can power a diverse range of devices while properly protecting users' privacy. This talk explores the potential of OpenHarmony, an open-source operating system designed for the connected intelligent era, and Oniro, an open-source project built on top of OpenHarmony and focused on interoperability. We will delve into the technical architecture and achievements of OpenHarmony, including its decoupled architecture, distributed capabilities, and support for heterogeneous devices. We will also discuss how Oniro's commitment to interoperability aligns with OpenHarmony's vision of a seamlessly connected intelligent world. By combining the strengths of OpenHarmony and Oniro, we can unlock a future where devices seamlessly communicate and collaborate, safely fostering intelligent experiences across all aspects of our lives.
