Addressing the Motion of Thanks in the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that empowering Nari-Shakti, Youth, Poor and the Farmers will lead to a Viksit Bharat. To attain the same one has to leave the selfish attitude of 20th century, he added. He remarked how PM Nehru was against reservation, especially in the area of jobs and employment. PM Nehru said that reservation will reduce efficiency and create difficulties, PM Modi added. J&K’s downtrodden castes and people were also deprived of their rights under the Congress along with other key legislations being deprived. By abrogating Article 370 we made sure that all are empowered enabling benefits to all, he said.
