Addressing the Motion of Thanks in the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the last 10 years have been dedicated to Garib-Kalyan & empowerment of all sections. We have tried to provide people with a pucca house irrespective of any distinctions. We provided them with toilets through Swachh Bharat Mission, gas cylinders through PM Ujjwala and free food grains through PMGKAY among several others. The last 10 years has seen a significant increase in the female and overall Gross Enrolment Ratio. Our government has facilitated holistic education with an emphasis on science and technology for ST students, he added.
