Enable Save As Download Prompt in Edge Browser on Windows 10/11 [Tutorial]

Microsoft Edge is a new web browser that is available across the Windows 10 device family. It is designed for Windows 10 to be faster, safer, and compatible with the modern Web.

If you are using the Microsoft Edge browser in Windows 11 or 10, and when you download a file from the internet, by default, it saves in the Downloads folder without any prompt. However, it is possible to make the Edge browser ask you where you want to save the downloaded file by enabling the Save As Downloads prompt on Windows 11 or 10.

The save prompt will provide you with the option to Save to your current Downloads folder, Save As to a folder you select, or Cancel the download.
