This video shows the current status of the game as currently in October 2024.

This video was recorded from a real Oric Atmos with version 0.8.6 of the game running at 60hz (which explains the color bars on startup when my video capture card lost the signal for a few frames).

The benefits of running at 60hz instead of 50hz is that the image ratio is much more standard (less squished)

Encounter is a graphical text adventure game for the 1984 Oric 8bit computers computers equipped with a Microdisc compatible disk unit such as the Cumulus or Cumana Reborn.
