This is a very short video showing how the Encouter disk loading system (based on Floppy Builder, and specifically the version used on the game Blake's 7) is performing on four different setups.

On the top left you can see Oricutron (emulator) running on Windows, on the top right Cumulus (one of the first SD card based storage systems for the Oric), at the bottom left the Cumana Reborn (a modern version of the 1984 Cumana disk system using a real floppy disk controller and a built-in GoTek floppy emulator) and at the bottom right the Loci device (a new product being developed and tested).

If you have an Oric compatible computer (Oric 1, Atmos, Telestrat, Pravetz 8D or Oric Nova 64) as well as a storage device compatible with Microdisc, Cumana or Jasmin systems, please try the tool on your system to see if that works.

I'm specially interested in Telestrat and Jasmin testing: I do not have working systems, the program seems to be running fine on Emulator but Jasmin 1 and Jasmin 2 have never been extensively tested, so there are no guarantee that they will work on the real hardware.

You can fetch the executable (in .DSK format) on this forum thread: https://forum.defence-force.org/viewt...

Thanks!
