Firstly, DON'T RESEARCH TURRETS! Upgrading them with shove is fine as is using the cache at the start is too! Then prioritize Food generators. Leveling up one hero than the next in order of importance. Dmg dealers take priority. Choose the Silent Punch drink if you feeling ballsy.
Keep choke points maintained. Always tp back to crystal if you think its not safe. Keep pressuring through to the core. Don't fuck it up. Kill boss. Simple!
