I've also installed the Steam version of Tetris Effect on a laptop.
The graphics quality was set to "Very Low" in the game here. I chose the "1984" stage, because that stage is light in graphics (if the stage is too graphics-heavy, the game gets a lot of lag, which you don't want when playing endless).
After reaching a score of over 1 million, I just let the blocks fall. It was way past midnight already and I have now proven I can play endless Marathon mode at speed level 15!
I would do it again for a fundraiser or something... but at least I got an "SS" (Super Special) score for the Marathon Effect Mode now :P
