The Witch presents a distinctive appearance, featuring blue skin, dark blue hair, and indigo crystals adorning parts of her body. Instead of a conventional nose, she possesses snake-like nostrils.
In battle, the Witch exhibits formidable abilities, capable of shielding itself or allies with a barrier. This barrier proves impervious to all but angelic weapons, prompting the Witch to teleport away and regenerate its shield if too much damage is inflicted.
When wielding angelic weapons, Dante becomes the primary target for the Witch's defensive maneuvers, while demonic weapons prompt the Witch to shield its allies. Additionally, the Witch can summon a pillar of blue crystals from the ground and hurl demonic blades at Dante.
To prevail against the Witch, a swift and strategic approach is imperative. Engage the Witch as soon as the battle commences, focusing on bringing down its shield. Utilize Shredder and Prop attacks for this purpose, or employ the highly effective Aquila Round Trip, effortlessly tearing through the shield without the need for charging.
Attacking enemies shielded by the Witch is strongly discouraged, as Dante's assaults struggle to penetrate the shield quickly enough. It is advisable to direct your efforts against the Witch itself, maximizing your impact on the battlefield.
While the Witch's summoned blades can be stolen with Demon Pull and Kicker, this strategy demands multiple button presses and is less efficient. Opt for a more effective parrying method by utilizing Osiris' Prop and Shredder attack, offering impeccable defense and redirecting the blades back at the Witch. Repelling all three blades guarantees the Witch's shield is dropped.
On higher difficulties, the Witch intensifies the challenge by flinging three blades, easily parried with Osiris's Shredder. If the Witch sustains two hits from her own blades, her shield shatters, leaving her stunned. Seize this opportunity to unleash Round Trip at the Witch, stunning her further, and follow up with an Angel Lift, closing in for the finishing blow with Arbiter Trinity Smash. Execute this sequence twice to vanquish the Witch and emerge victorious in the face of demonic adversity.
