Enemy Engaged: RAH-66 Comanche versus Ka-52 Hokum was developed by Razorworks and released in 2000 for Windows and Mac. It was built upon improved engine used for earlier Apache vs Havoc and because of that It could merge with it which added 2 flyable helicopters and 3 theaters from EEAH. It featured RAH-66 Comanche and Ka-52 Hokum B (obviously) with both pilot and CP/G positions modelled this time around. The new hot zones included Lebanon, Yemen and Taiwan on which you could wage dynamic campaigns or smaller skirmishes.

The game's source code was released to the public in 2003, which enabled people to mod the hell out of this game throughout the years, adding more maps, more flyable choppers, more detailed cockpits, more realistic avionics, more accurate flight models and peripherals support (Track IR, modern flight sticks). This however is the vanilla version patched with latest official 1.4.7.X patch, running with the help of gdVoodoo2. Take note the GOG's version is already updated with one of early community mod patch, so if you want to get vanilla experience you would have to seek out retail version of this game. Fortunately there are plenty of those since the game was re-released many times even as cover disk for some games magazines (that's the version I own).

Gameplay was recorded at 1280x960 resolution and upscaled to 1440x1080 for youtube. It is actually set to run at 640x480 in game options so the cockpit art for EEAH helos will display (dgVoodoo2 is upscaling it to 1280x960), newer choppers have fully modelled 3d cockpits with animated pilot models. As a nice detail - you could import your own face into the game - go to \Razorworks\cohokum\graphics\skins - there are folders for USA and RUSSIAN pilot and cpg as well as a template. Just switch the files and voila! Not so much fun for tandem cockpit Comanche but for side-by-side seats of Hokum B it's nice to see you're flying with competent (or not) pilot / gunner ;)

Since the older patches are really hard to find on-line these days, I will host them below:
