Disclaimer: I still type the version the level was built in, not the current game version. This was obviously beat on 2.2 with 2.,2 physics changes and all that.

WHAT JUST HAPPENED. I think it's been around 7 years since I added this level to my list of levels I want to beat one day, and it's done now. And not only is it done now, but it's also done as quick as it could possibly happen. I kept practicing this level over and over on 60hz years ago and now on 165hz, both on 2.1 and 2.2 physics, and I was on 60hz for the majority of time, and I thought it was too hard for me back then. Well, apparently, it sure was, because when I switched to 165hz, I found myself dying at the wave part where the icon touches the slope, I just could not make the wave move up as it was like sticking to the slope and did not respond to my clicks, so I kind of abandoned the level, and now it's 2.2 and with this burst of motivation to open the game again I decided to check out the level once more and got insanely surprised how much easier it felt compared to 165hz and 2.1 physics and especially 60hz setups. So I gave this level a few practice runs and they all were insanely inconsistent. My attempts count was jumping from like 60 to 9, and 9 attempts run was by best before I felt brave enough to try the level in normal mode. I did a few runs from around 50% and started getting very consistent and I managed to get to the last triple a few times, so I gave it a try in normal mode. It all went just as always, hard grind with slight progress with each attempt, and then I reached 63. I thought it was a long way to go, but I fluked the rest. Literally. I have no idea, how I did that, I have absolutely no idea how lucky I got not dying EVER part 63, like I beat the level almost the next attempt i get to 63. I managed to fluke the least UFO, which I barely felt consistent at, and I fluked the very last orb the very first try i reached it. And the craziest thing is that I NEVER managed to get this timing consistently while practicing. It always took me a few tens of tries to just get through, and I did it first try in normal mode, I have absolutely no clue how that happened. VERY glad to have this done, Lyal, love you my dude, keep grinding!

For the level itself, this definitely looks like something inspired by Hinds/Loogiah/Vlacc kind of design, a lot of simple and brutal designs changing very fast, and this definitely is not the easiest task to workk with this kind of designs, since you gotta really make a lot of things, looking very different from each other yet together making into a whole very nice looking level. Although I very much can see a lot of flaws due to creator's lack of experience, but this level is very old, and Lyal has gotten a lot better these days, not to mention Overload by him and how amazing that level is and how much I love it. Gameplay is manageable, but it has a ton of hard timings, and I don't like how much they depend of inputs made before them, making them very hard to get consistent at, but with time and learning process it definitely can be perfected, since I of all people have managed to beat it, again, which I very much am happy about. Definitely looking forward to finding more amazing Insane Demons to beat.
