Ring Trick [Demon] - Zoroa - Geometry Dash 2.11
76Wow. I am absolutely blown away. Once know to nobody, some dude named Zoroamaster used to hang out in my streams with my little community having fun chatting with each other and watching me build something on stream, and now years later Zoroa, known to everyone, makes such a banger. No doubt this is by far my Favorite level of his, and I loved evey bit of it when playing. When I first saw it, I instantly knew I was gonna try to beat it, but when I first tried to beat it, I quickly realized how difficult it was, and I might never beat this, even though this isn't as hard as some of my hardest completions. This was a very challenging experience due to all the pulses hurting my eyes and overall insanely fast gameplay. My inner self was in total happiness seeing such a dynamic level come out, but on the other side my real self was screaming from pain. I could barely see when to click and where to go at waves and, keeping in mind how trash I am at wave gameplay, you might see how hard this was for me. Not only that but I also decided to go for all coins for some reason. And even though you see me missing a collectible at the second wave sequence, I still went on to collect every other one after it, and the reason for that is simple - I never learned a different way. I died twice to the very last timing at 94% with all 9 collectibles taken, and that makes the miss a bit more sad. Perhaps it could be easier to just not go for the coin but learning it was something I couldn't do due to time limitations. Anyway, gameplay in this level is, well, idk how to word it, I divide the level on 2 parts, one before wave and wave itself. And these 2 parts are drastically different between each other in both visuals and difficulty. Once I got the hang of the very first cube timings and skips, I quickly made it to the wave and oh man how long it took me to learn the wave. I love how dynamic the wave part is, but some timings and gaps feel absurdly narrow and my mind couldn't process them from time to time, and this especially goes to the entire final wave part where I have absolutely no idea where the hitboxes are even now when I have beaten the level. I think this is my only complaint about the gameplay and design, I had to observe the part in the editor just to understand what is what, wheere to and where not to go, and even after that I still had a lot of issues positioning myself properly and dying unexpectedly. Designs are gorgeous, it's been a while since I've seen such level of design and clean look from anyone. Zoroa has made his own creative style through years and this is the very culmination of it, everything is very detailed, a lot of scales are used, and colors are very bright, pulses are very bright etc. My personal favorite part in terms of design has to be the wave, though, it has a lot of small details you need to focus your attention on to see them, and doing it in an NC level is quite a challenge. I can surely say this is a must to play if you are skilled enough to try a level this hard. I think this is my hardest NC level to day, and considering how bad I am at wave, my final rating might differ from anyone else's. Absolutely nailed it, Zoroa, love the result and good luck in the contest!
