Enhancing PhotoRealism - GTA 5 PhotoRealistic Enhancement (Part II) | AI Inspiration
GTA 5 Enhancing Photorealism Enhancement - Part II (RTX 3090).
Inspired by the AI tool that Intel Scientists have built, I made a second video with photorealistic imaging technology for GTA 5. It uses Nvidia RTX 3090 and no reshade for colours or enhancing quality. I have tried to tweak Ambient Occlusion using tools available with different edits to the game files for colour and lighting. Ambient Occlusion is a shadowing technique used to make 3D objects look more realistic by simulating the soft shadows that should naturally occur when indirect or ambient lighting is cast out onto your scene.
Intel scientists have used the approach where the images are enhanced by a convolutional network that leverages intermediate representations produced by conventional rendering pipelines. In this method the network is trained via a adversarial objective, whereas I am just replacing the textures, manipulating lighting, colours and the camera placement to replicate a real world appeal. Intel scientists have introduced multiple improvements in the deep network modules used for photorealism enhancement and claim substantial gains in stability and realism in comparison to recent image-to-image translation methods.
