I've needed it for some time, and every base needs a tree farm. I prefer to have them isolated and self-maintained if possible. The only thing I need now is to connect the network to it to access all items - and destroy the excess.

The detail I mentioned, regarding being too close to the hedge, means that the farm will cut away a LOT of the leaves I have placed there to keep mobs out. Only one or two blocks away would have been enough but I don't feel like moving everything now.

Cursed Earth is different these days. I remembered a ritual to get it, now I got the drop required from my mob farm. A bit too easy, and now it's very powerful. Only some care with the mob drops and power and it will be even better!
